I was at the World Climbing Competition held over the weekend in Genting Highlands. Firstly, the cool weather was fantastic...a great respite from the humidity in the city.Team from Russian, Hong Kong, Italy, Germany, Spain, Singapore, Indonesia etc were there competiting. Our company sponsored the Malaysian team.
It is certainly a respected sport as it requires the climber to be agile, flexible, strong mentally and physically.
The Singapore contigent won 3rd and 4th placing in the speed event. Malaysian team...hmmm...

Didn't know you were into climbing as well. Sharon, you didn't join ah?
Since I am in a job that has business interests in outdoor sports....I am starting to enjoy some of these activities.
