Am now in the train from Taiping to KL. And guess what...Andrew and family is on the train too! Somehow, Pat got wind of it and here is the big plan that both of us will try to pull off.
"A trip for all cousins ...and the parents to Penang on the train!"
It will be a major thing to plan and both Pat and I will do it. Pat will get the bungalow in Pulau Tikus. It is targeted sometime in October according to Pat. I guess we will (AGAIN) find time to coincide with school holidays.
The trip essentially to get as many people on the train starting from Singapore. There is a KTM train from Singapore to Butterworth and back down again. So, everyone boards the train at their various stop with Taiping being the last boarding..which also will be craziest as all the Dis and Mis are coming up from there (headache!!!!). Its okay, we will probably get mikus and yau cha kuai then.
Then, another headache to get fom Butterworth to Penang but that can be figured out. After a short weekend, then the we all head back down.
This is all for now. Let us all try to make this one as I think it is timely and would be really good to get a big family. Though, I would pity the other passengers in our coach as it would be mega noisy!!
