Tenggol Island :off East Coast

Last weekend we were at Tenggol. Gwyn went diving, i just snorkelled (corals here very nice, alive and colorful, saw a few Nemos here and there) and snoozed the whole say on a hammock under the tree.

Okay, yes we did dinner! Though, one of the head waiter was peculiarly weird...not wanting us to place more orders!

Weekend in Singapore

It was a great weekend away with Gaik and family. And it was so sweet that Tim and Nick made me an early birthday card and brought me a present!! The birthday present is still sitting at home...will only open it on the actual day itself.

We decided to celebrate the birthdays for everyone together...Jason, Nick and Tim. Of course, Gaik had hers in January. That evening, we ate at the duck restaurant in Vivo City and it was yummy! On Sunday, of course...it was pizza hut for the kids.

Topless Car Wash in Dempsey Hills - We Volunteer Cheok!!

SINGAPORE, March 3 (Bernama) - 'Topless Car Wash'! Sounds familiar. But don't get it wrong and become easily excited.

Come this Saturday, when the world celebrates the International Women's Day, several young and handsome Singaporean men, not women, will appear topless and offer to wash cars at Dempsey Hill here for a charitable cause and as tribute to all women.

Local TV channel Sony Entertainment Television (SET), the organiser of the event said the day where the world's men, as well as women, honour their mothers, sisters, wives and friends, the local hunks would show their respect in a different way by displaying their bronzed, buff bodies.

The young men would be "hosing down your car, wiping your windshield and sweating it out in the hot afternoon sun, as a treat for and tribute to all you women who work way too hard!," SET said in a statement on Tuesday.

The men, who are volunteers, would wash cars for the fairer sex for a token contribution, but those of the men could still get their vehicles cleaned in exchange for donations collected in support of the Breast Cancer Foundation (BCF), the organiser said.
