Last photos of my Mum

These are the last photos of my Mum and was taken in Ipoh on the 3rd Jan 2009.

My Aunty, Niece, their maid and our grand nephews and nieces from Penang.

They are all very close to my Mum, who stayed with them whenever we went up to Penang.

They came down at the spur of the moment when they heard we were in Ipoh.

As if they knew this will be the very last time they will see her.

My Mum passed away on the 6th Jan 2009.

My Mum would be very happy to reaffirm that she has so many family members who constantly think of her so fondly.

Today, we live to remember her and the wonderful aunt she had been to us. For Cheok and Mooi, the wonderful mum...and for Jonathan, the wonderful grandma.

Rest in Peace Tua Ee.

6th January 2009 : A Moment of Silence for Tua Ee

Tua Ee has passed away. This is really a sad moment for all of us. She was our big auntie and always the pillar to the Saw clan. She held court.

Cheok and Mooi, we are very sorry for your mum's passing. She will now reunite peacefull with Ah Tniau.

Tua EE Had A Stroke

(Peter : Thanks for the email notification).

All, Tua EE had a major stroke yesterday evening. She is now in the hospital and is not conscious. I just spoke to my parents and they are now in Ipoh, on the way to the hospital.

While we pray for her recovery, let us also pray for Cheok and Mooi.

A little trip to Singapore

A few months ago, I made a trip down to Singapore to spend some time with Gaik and family. Then, I discovered the HOUSE at Dempsey. It is a fabulous place...an old army getup that is now transformed into a swanky place with restaurants and over-the-top grocery store and shops.

Krabi

It's been so long since i posted photos that i'd almost forgotten how!

Anyway, was away for 5 days in Krabi. It's a great beach resort, which gives u the option to just bum around or rock climb and kayak. Of course i chose to bum around!

Celebrating a preview to the annual National Day Parade (NDP) which is a big event in our country. It was held at Marina Bay floating platform. Several preview shows are usually being held over a few weeks (Saturdays) prior to the actual celebration day on the 9th August in order to allow as many people as possible to experience the NDP celebrations here in Singapore.
